Bonded Realms Series by Regan Allen

July 2026

I have followed Regina Scott from England to Washington. Yellowstone to the Grand Canyon. I have gone on so many "reading" adventures that when I learned she was writing a new series under a new name, I was definitely intrigued. Writing as Regan Allen, she has stepped into the Fantasy genre by introducing readers to the Bonded Realms series. An intriguing series where there are two groups of people, those who lived in the cities, and those who are part of the Wildwood. The characters were given intriguing gifts and it was fascinating to learn of their cultures. But there was a growing threat of invaders coming to their land. This threat continued to grow through the series culminating with this month's release, the final in the series.

Below are the links to my reviews for the six stories followed by a 3 Q&A where I have asked Regan (aka Regina Scott) three questions.

#1 - Seer of the Wildwood

#2 - Emissary Of The Hidden

#3 - Huntress Of The Citadel

#4 - Singer Of The Dawn

#5 - Lady Of The Fire

#6 - Outlaw Of The Wildwood

3 Q&A

KRC: For your first foray as Regan Allen, fantasy author, you developed an intricate storyline that develops over the course of six books. How long did you spend world building before you started writing the first book?

Ms Allen: I spent months working out all the details of the Bonded Realms world, from the history of the two people groups to the geography and flora and fauna of each part. I dabbled in languages too. I really enjoyed fleshing things out, but as I wrote, more things came to mind. My series codex is over 25 pages!

KRC: Did you plan on six books from the beginning, or did you adjust as you got to know your characters and possibly certain characters demanded stories of their own?

Ms Allen: I planned for six, but you're right, more and more stories kept knocking on the door. It was hard to say no!

KRC: Although the primary story arc for the Bonded Realms series did conclude, I can see that possibility for additional stories. Any chance we may return to this world?

Ms Allen: I have ideas for several spin offs, but those will likely have to wait a while. I'm excited to be starting my new series, The Vow, a duology with a short story prequel set during the extended Regency period in a portion of England famed for its beauty, mystery, and sightings of fae.

KRC: And that concludes my 3 Q&A for July. My thanks to Ms Allen for answering my questions. I hope this intrigues you to read her Bonded Realms series. I look forward to what she does next, as both Regina Scott and Regan Allen

My Personal Disclaimer

Boy Meets Girl, They Fall in Love, and the two of them live Happily Ever After. This is the content for any book I believe is a true Romance Genre novel. The books that I recommend, or have reviews posted for will follow that format, unless I note otherwise. Granted we may know the outcome of a Romance Genre Novel, but it is the journey the characters take that is the reason we read these books. The Happily Ever After doesn't mean they're all vampires... Just means that the future is open to them, even if it is set 500 years in the past - we don't need to know their final chapter in life. At times I have have Recommend Reads by visitors to this site - I cannot guarantee that they meet my criteria for a Romance Genre Novel.
