Bea Williams was looking forward to the staying in the cottage on Santorini while she helped manage her godmother's party. She would need the escape when dealing with the chaos that was Golly. Bea loved her dearly, but although Golly was a sharp literary agent able to bring out the best in authors and get them the best offers, the rest of her life was bit more lax. Bea would be fighting Golly-made fires day and night until the party was over. The quiet of the cottage would be her peace.
Gibson Caddell was looking forward to revisiting the location of his favorite childhood memories. He was thrilled to rent the cottage from Golly for two weeks. Two weeks away from everyone. No work. Just do whatever caught his fancy. Alone.
Except Golly being Golly had conveniently forgotten she'd assigned both Bea and Gib the cottage. And most of the island was either closed or booked for a big wedding. Neither truly believed Golly made a mistake, but neither were willing to give up the cottage.
Thus begins a contest of wills.
One Bed was a romance bringing two headstrong individuals, who both need a little healing, together. Bea had trust issues due to a nasty breakup. Gib abhorred opening himself to anyone. Gib was a bit of a jerk at times, but it was wonderful to see them both overcome their pasts to fight for a new future. There was an entertaining cast of secondary characters, and then there was Golly. Someone who only those who love her could possibly put up with her antics.
