It was almost time. With the approaching hurricane, Billie knew she couldn't go to the shelter until the last possible moment. She couldn't allow the secret of her presence be known. So she had waited in the trailer with her dog Nutmeg, knowing that soon, she would be able to sell an antique for enough money that they could possibly survive for a little bit longer.
But someone arrived just before the hurricane. She thought he was there to kill her. Instead, Rick claimed to be the owner of the watch that she was planning to sell. Time is of the essence as they have to fight the elements, and the killer who had come for Billie.
Whirlwind is a romance with a dash of suspense. Rick had come looking for his watch, but found a woman he could grow to love.
