Archangel's Legion

Guild Hunter - Book 10

By Nalini Singh

Berkley Sensation - October 2013

Urban Fantasy Romance

This review assumes that the reader has read the previous books in Nalini Singh's Guild Hunter series, and does contain spoilers to those books. Due to the complex world building, continuing storylines, and the fact that this book is the fourth story revolving around the primary couple in the series, it is highly recommended to read this series in order.

Elena was finally getting the hang of being the consort of an archangel. The wings may require new muscles, but she was training hard. Weapons were being adjusted for her, and she slept in the arms of an archangel. Friends and strangers alike were becoming accustomed to seeing her soar the sky.

It was the social niceties that were now more of a challenge. Having to make nice with the enemy, hosting others in their home. Building her own Guard. Although that one actually was somewhat of an accident - but it was still another facet of this new life.

She may now be immortal, but danger was everywhere. The known threats were much easier than the new challenges they faced. Everyone was at risk, angel, vampire, human. Not just in her home city or country, but worldwide.

Nalini Singh continues to captivate readers by continually providing stories with exceptional world building, passionate romances, and characters we love. And just when we believe we know what to expect, she surprises readers with new twists. Archangel's Legion is such a story. This may be Elena and Raphael's fourth story, but it is anything but predictable. Angels fall from the sky, and vampires are at risk. Yet there is one thing readers can count on, and that is the continuing growth of Elena and Raphael's love for each other. Archangel's Legion is guaranteed to make readers anxious for more in this series.
