His Second-Chance Duchess was an intriguing continuation to Ms Scott’s Darling Duchesses series. There are a lot of shenanigans going on in Tyneham. Items are being stolen, an unexpected visitor arrives, and a whole lot of matchmaking is going on. In fact, I’m surprised this wasn’t called the Matchmaking Manor series. Everyone is trying to get Georgie and Hugh to reunite, but it will take time, acceptance, and forgiveness of the past, to have a future together. I look forward to the third and final Dowager Duchess story.
