Triple Trouble on Christmas Eve

Short Story in Home For the Holidays Anthology

By Becke Martin

2012

Contemporary Romance

It was Christmas Eve, and Noelle and her sisters are at their family's bar, spending time together, and reminiscing. Their mother had died earlier that year, and the wound was still deep. But their mother had made them give a promise, and it was as much a promise as hope for the future.

Then three men come into the bar, and it is the secret that they have that makes their impossible promise a reality.

Triple Trouble on Christmas Eve was a fun short romantic romp, and my favorite story in this anthology. In fact, I would really love for Becke Martin to go back and write three more short stories, one for each couple, to see their full stories that are only hinted at here.

Home For the Holidays is a short anthology with nine stories that is a mere 125 pages. We are introduced to six new authors, some of whom I hope to see in print again soon. This anthology includes: Christmas at Coventry Arcade by Becke Martin, The Holly and the Ivey by Sandy Pennington, Speaking the Language by Ann Gregory, Triple Trouble on Christmas Eve by Becke Martin, Merry and Bight by Ann Gregory, Silver and Gold by Becke Martin, The Last Christmas Visit by Stacy McKitrick, Time's Holiday by Jennette Marie Powell, and No More Resolutions by Dakota James
