Where else would one of the most powerful beings in the world be? Why among Klingons, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Yodas of course. Pandora had come to the Dragon*Con convention to search for Ash - the only one who had the ability to help her. She was a Were-Panther who had been abducted to hopefully, for her abductors, become a mate. Luckily she had escaped, but had no way of returning home. Only the all-powerful Ash could help. If only she could find him, and keep away from any male were-panthers.
Moments after arriving at the convention, Donte Pontis, as well as his brothers, could smell her. There was a female were-panther in heat - the one thing that Dante wanted to stay as far away from as possible. Dante knew all about the mating among their kind - and he wanted absolutely nothing to do with it. Unfortunately for him, deeply ingrained instincts sometimes overrule all other desires.
Ms Kenyon has provided an enjoyable quick story to tide the readers over until the next Dark-Hunter Novel. It's amazing how well she developed not only the main characters, but the multiple secondary characters. I am hoping that she will revisit the Pontis brothers again.
