By Sherrilyn Kenyon

St. Martin's Press - August 2004

Paranormal Romance

In the latest installment of Sherrilyn Kenyon's Dark-Hunters Series, the hero is a Were-Hunter wolf. Cast out from his wolf pack, and set up to die, Vane Kattalakis managed to survive. Then he sees Bride McTierney, and the attraction that he feels is even more powerful than the time he had seen her before. Even knowing that he should keep away from her, instincts dictate otherwise.

Men were the scum of the earth, and Bride was better off without them. At least that was what she was trying to convince herself after she gets dumped. She knew that she wasn't svelte, and had tried to convince herself that he was only concerned for her when he suggested diets and exercise programs. But her boyfriend had dumped her for someone with a better body - there was no other way to put it. So when the absolutely most gorgeous man that she was certain graced this earth walked into her store, she knew that he may be great eye candy, but she was not what he would want. Boy was she in for a surprise.

After all, Vane was not a man - he was a wolf. He was an animal who would soon learn that Bride was his mate, and they had 3 weeks for her to come to terms with the paranormal world he lived in and accepted him as his mate, or he was, for lack of a better word, neutered. She was the only woman he would ever be able to mate with again.

Ms Kenyon's stories keep getting more detailed and intriguing. We learn more about the Sanctuary, and the assorted characters that hang out there. This is an action packed, intense paranormal romance that the readers will delight in.
