Infinity

The Chronicles of Nick - Book 1

By Sherrilyn Kenyon

St. Martin's - June 2010

Note: The Chronicles of Nick begins with Nick at the age of 14, and shows his introduction to the world of the Dark Hunters. It completely stands on its own as a young adult series. However, if you are reading the Dark Hunter series, there are spoilers in this book that are revealed at a later age of Nick. As such, you might consider reading the Dark Hunter series through at least Acheron before reading Infinity.

It didn't matter that he had the brains that allowed him to go to his school, Nick Gautier was simply gutter trash who didn't belong. At least that is what most of his classmates and even some of the staff at his school thought. Nick knew better. His mother had made sacrifices for him his entire life, and he was determined to make things better for them.

He never expected his opportunity to do that would come by when someone witnesses him make one of the stupidest mistakes in his life. He's offered a job by his rescuer, and he quickly realizes that there is something more going on in the mansion where Kyrian lives.

But all of that pales with what had happened at school. Class jocks were turning in zombies. Heck, it wasn't limited to just the football team. Zombies were everywhere, and it was up to Nick and some of his new friends, some with quite unusual abilities, to stop them.

Sherrilyn Kenyon has done it again. Young adult readers will be sucked into the world of the Dark Hunters, eager to learn more. Fans of the series will be thrilled to see younger versions of characters they know and love. But there is more, so much more. Little tidbits that dedicated fans will say, wow, I didn't expect that. Because after reading Infinity, readers will quickly realize this series is not going to be what they expected. It will be more.
