Meeting Mr. Right Online

By Cindy K. Green

By Grace Publishing - 2008

Chik-Lit (with a Romance)

Lucinda Kelley felt that she was in a rut. She wasn't doing as well as she hoped at work, she was single and the only male attention she was receiving was an online friend. Julian Crawford had become one of the constants in her life. They e-mailed each other about anything and everything, but then she doesn't hear from him for a few days.

Now she had to attend an engagement party with what she knew would be all happy couples. At least she would attend with a male friend, granted he had a girlfriend he was fully committed to, but she wouldn't be alone. What she doesn't expect is that she might find love in the most unexpected place.

Meeting Mr. Right Online was an enjoyable story with likeable characters. Ms. Green succeeded in making the main character very identifiable. My only regret is that it was completely in first person (an inherent issue with chick-lit), so we weren't able to truly witness extensive development of the hero. His mannerisms and quiet intense demeanor begged of a character I simply wanted to read more about. Overall, Meeting Mr. Right Online proves why Cindy K. Green is on my "Must Read" list of authors.
