Birds. They are everywhere you look. In homes, in the air, on your porch. These are stories about the birds in the lives of the authors. There are multiple stories, each with a different author. Some stories tell of pets, some of visitors. All left memories with the authors and now readers.

The stories include the tiniest of birds. Hummingbirds and how they loved red. A late night visit by a snowy owl. Backyard chickens and an orphaned backyard sparrow. So many instances of human and bird lives intertwined.

Consider the Birds is not only the perfect book for bird lovers but can be informative and enlightening for others. It teaches that birds are inquisitive, engaging, creatures with varied personalities. I learned more about seagulls than I had ever known, and am now very fascinated with them. I really enjoyed these varied bird stories.
