The Lake House
Firefly Summer Series - Book 2

Contemporary Romance
Brogan Rafferty had lost his teammates, his brothers, and was recovering from his own injuries when he'd learned of his sister's death. But it had been learning she’d left him responsible for her baby girl that had pulled him together. He’d found her and brought her to the small town of Bramble, Kentucky where he was greeted by Pixie Nolan upon his arrival.
Pixie was more than happy to help her best friends Marlow and Cort by handling the paperwork with the new renter while they were on vacation. From the moment she met Brogan, she was more than intrigued by the man caring for the little girl. She had been content with her new family, her son and Marlow who had become as close as a sister. She loved her work and doing her artwork. She hadn't anticipated the attraction she felt for Brogan, but from the moment she sees him, she is interested. Then when he steps in to help others in their little community, pieces of her heart become his.
But Brogan has secrets and a threat that could jeopardize any chance of happiness between them.
The Lake House is a fun romance that gripped me from page one and never let go. I enjoyed the relationship growth between Pixie and Brogan, was entertained by the various characters, and was intrigued to see how everything would be resolved.
