Unique Transformation

Paranormal Romance

Christine Mattison never felt true affinity with her family. She had to hide from them that she volunteered at the hospital. After all, that was not an adequate way to mingle with the elite. Escaping one such event, Christine finds herself in a position where she is rescued by someone. But it is a question of what that person is, not who it is, that haunts her.

Droan had been searching for a mate, and had finally found her. He knew that he would need to be cautious in approaching her. After all, his scales immediately identified him as an alien. However, he had observed her, and knew her to be a caring and sensitive individual. Someone more than capable of not only accepting him for who he was, but also of handling the position that being his mate would entail.

Unique Transformation definitely was an enjoyable romance with a fascinating hero. Droan's physical appearance would have turned most women away, yet Christine was able to see beneath the exterior to the gentle soul inside. Although some may wonder if Christine truly would have so easily accepted him, Ms Dawson deftly handled why Christine was so willing to do so. I would love to see more stories where we would learn more about Droan's world.
