The Laird's Willful Lass

The Lairds Most Likely - Book 1

Historical Romance

Marina Lucchetti was able to make a living on her own credentials as an artist. For a woman, it took more than talent. It took drive and passion, which she had. It also took a support system, which included her father and patron. Which was why she found herself in Scotland. A patron had commissioned her to paint some scenes there, and her father travelled as her chaperone. Unfortunately, their incompetent driver got them lost and crashed the carriage causing her father to break his leg.

Everyone did as Fergus Mackinnon, Laird of Achnasheen, said. He gave directions, and they were followed. Then he met Marina, and the independent Italian lass seemed to be determined to not obey his directives. Fergus tended to avoid such women, but Fergus only felt anticipation knowing Marina had to stay while her father recovered. Marina might have intended to paint in Skye, but Fergus intended to show her that the landscapes of his home could be equally enticing.

The Laird's Willful Lass was an entertaining romance of two headstrong individuals finding their way together. Marina was a contradiction to everything Fergus thought he wanted in a wife. The same could be said for Marina's opinion of Fergus. He was used to his opinion being right, and she had no intention of giving up her freedom as an artist. Luckily, they both learn the benefits of compromise. The Laird's Willful Lass was a sexy introduction to Anna Campbell's new The Lairds Most Likely series.
