Contemporary Romance

For once in her life, Lizzie Baron had simply let go. Let go of all responsibilities and let the night take her where it went. And it had gone directly into the bed of Chris Miller. The bronco rider and the corporate vice president. It should have only been one night.

But one night can create consequences.

Chris had thought he would never see Lizzie again. She had left without a word, and he'd had no way of finding her. Then one day, she sought him out with unexpected news. She was going to have his baby. She didn't need his help, but there was no way he was not going to be a part of his child's life.

And he also wanted to be a part of Lizzie's life too.

The Texan's Baby is a touching romance showing the importance of love. Not just between Lizzie and Chris and their unborn child, but also love for their families. Lizzie had stepped up and assumed familial responsibilities at a young age when her mother left. She has to step up again as her father recovers from an accident, but now she has a more important priority. She plans to focus her attention on her pregnancy, preparations for the baby, and work. Chris, however, plans to add himself to that list.

I enjoyed all the characters in The Texan's Baby, so it is nice to know that this is only the first in the Texas Rodeo Barons continuity series - a series written by different authors. I look forward to seeing what is in store next.
