Her Wild Hero is the third full length novel in Paige Tyler's X-OPS series. I would suggest reading these books in order, starting with the prequel to the series, Her Secret Agent.
Kendra Carlsen was finally going on a mission. She was so excited, and anxious for it to start. Knowing that Declan MacBride was on the team made her even more eager. For years, the sexy big bear shifter had been asking her out, but she had been too wrapped up in another shifter. Unfortunately, Kendra's optimism waned from the very beginning. Declan couldn't be more uncomfortable with her on the team, and not in a good way. Then there was the tedious walking through the jungle. Oh, and were there supposed to be hybrids attacking them?
Declan had finally gotten over his infatuation with Kendra. He kept telling himself that when he searched for her, scented her, wanted her. No. He was a big boy, and had gotten the point. She wasn't interested in him, and he wasn't interested in her. Nope. Not at all. She was out of his system. Try telling that to his bear side that simply wanted to grab her and find a cozy cave to settle in.
Her Lone Wolf was a sweet, sexy romance that I had been eager for since meeting Kendra and Declan. Declan was such a sweet, giant, cuddly teddy bear who had never hidden his desire for Kendra, but had finally chosen to turn his interests elsewhere. At least he was trying to convince himself of that. Kendra, however, had finally come to her senses, but how was she going to convince a bear whom she had turned down for so long? I adored watching them come together, and how their various friends all fight to save them.
