Sweet Historical Western Romance

Sadie Brandywine ran away from her mother and step-father after she was forced to sing on stage. She'd hidden in what she considered an abandoned building, hoping to lie low until her mother and step-father left town, but was running out of food when she was discovered by Jacob Willets. Jacob convinced her to return with him to his home with his extended family. Sadie was enchanted with the whole family. It was everything she had ever wanted, a warm caring family who helped one another. Settled and building an honest life. When Jacob offers marriage due to the circumstances of them being alone, she quickly accepted.

Jacob had been striving to convert the old blockhouse into a schoolhouse. He believed a formal education was important for the children. He had been shocked to discover Sadie, but even more shocked when she promptly accepted marriage to him. He offered to give them time to know one another better, and was pleasantly surprised by her knowledge and caring. But he also could tell that there was something she was holding back. He just hoped that she would come to trust him to protect their future together.

Hideaway Frontier Bride was a fun romance with a plunky heroine eager for this new adventure and a hero bemused that such a woman was his. It is always entertaining at the Jumping J with all the Willets. I loved watching Sadie and Jacob make their home and discover their love for one another. I look forward to returning soon.
