Ben Warden knew this challenge was just what he needed for his career. The new duke had explained his needs. Ben just hadn't been aware of the headstrong dowager who would challenge him at every turn. Then he learned that there were two additional dowagers he would need to impress. But that was what he excelled at. Speak to everyone, get their opinions, and propose options that would best help everyone.
Ben knew that he needed to focus on his obligations, but as he worked with Claudia he was impressed with the determined intelligent woman who has helped with the estate and cares for the inhabitants. He finds himself wanting to offer a future, but there are several considerations besides their differences in social stature.
His Extraordinary Duchess was a fun introduction to Ms Scott's new Darling Duchesses series. There is a lot of mischief going on in Tyneham Manor. I loved the Duchesses, Anastasia the pug, and the glimpses we would see of the staff. Claudia had cared for this home for so long, and it was wonderful for her to find her own future with the perfect hero for her. I look forward to the next Dowager Duchesses' story.
