Vampire Romance

Deciding to have some fun and escape from the drama of a bitter divorce, Carolyn Connor and her friend Bethany head to St. Lucia for vacation while visiting another friend, Genie, who worked at a resort. Instead of lifting her spirits, Carolyn finds the entire trip depressing. Bethany remains sick in the villa while Carolyn tries to have fun. Alone. Completely surrounded by ecstatic, amorous, honeymooners. How depressing. Even worse is when a young couple asks her to join them. Marguerite and Julius Notte are insistent, and won't take "no" for an answer. Then, when Genie tells of the resort's immediate need for a band, the Nottes offer to contact a band that they know.

Carolyn is appalled when she meets the band. Not that there was anything wrong with them. Not at all. Rather she was appalled by her reaction by one particular member of the band. Christian Notte was hot, sexy, and oh-so-appealing, at the terribly young age of maybe 25. Ugh, it was like robbing the cradle. But then Christian's cousin Gia tells her the truth about Christian, and how he needed her help.

Christian didn't always appreciate his family's "help". First, there was the lie Gia told Carolyn to encourage her to spend time with him. It thwarted all his plans. But when he wasn't in a passion-induced haze, he could agree that getting her to know him as a friend might help later to convince her to commit to turning and become his life mate. Luckily, he had his family near at hand to haul him in when his rational mind got sidetracked.

Under a Vampire Moon is a vampire romantic romp filled with one hilarious encounter after another, characters that leap off the pages, and love. Love of parents for their child, and that man for his parents - regardless of the fact that he hasn't been a child for ages. Love of family that you are born into, and the family that you make. But ultimately the love of a vampire and his life mate.
