Considering Lily

Orchard Hill Series - Book 3

Inspirational Romance

It wasn't easy to step back and critically look at oneself, but Lily Robinson forced herself to do that. She wasn't happy with what she saw. While married to her ex-husband, his verbal abuse had led to her distancing herself from her family and friends. That hadn't stopped Grace from coming to help her relocate to Orchard Hill once Lily divorced. However, she had continued her standoffish attitude particularly with men. That included Grace's soon-to-be brother-in-law Ian O'Neil.

It wasn't easy having a crush on someone as prickly as Lily. That may seem a bit of a juvenile emotion, but Ian was man enough to realize he liked Lily, and sometimes, she seemed to like him as well. Unfortunately, every time they started moving a little closer, she skittered away faster than he could blink. He knew there were women who would be less taxing to date, but it was Lily who haunted Ian's thoughts. Luckily, he was a patient man, but there were limits to what he would endure.

Considering Lily was a romance I was eager to read ever since I met Ian and Lily in Saving Gracie. Ian was the perfect hero for Lily, who needed a man with both a sympathetic shoulder and a strong will. Considering Lily was a wonderfully written short story which encompassed the hurt of someone recovering from an abusive relationship and the triumph as that person overcomes and fights for their own happiness.

This is the third story of the Orchard Hill series where Pansy Parker and Misty Green are in a year long competition to see who is the better matchmaker.
