Always A Cowboy

Love at the Crazy H Series - Book 3

By Cindy Spencer Pape

The Wild Rose Press - 2008

Western Contemporary Romance

Trip Hall's life had been tossed around, scambled, and he bore the scars to prove it. He'd worked as a professional stuntman in Hollywood until a horrible crash had almost ended his life, in addition to his livelihood. His girlfriend had left him while he was in the hospital, and he'd planned to simply move back to the Crazy H and recover. But then he'd learned his ex-girlfriend had died - and she had a son. His son.

In school, Beth Corcoran had always harbored a secret crush on Trip. She had obviously succeeded in hiding it, as the two of them had been friends, and he had never indicated he suspected her feelings, and even worse, never shown any interest in her. She knew he was back in town, but she had no intention of sliding back into past roles. Or future ones for that matter. She was an adult, a mother, and she had no intention what-so-ever of falling for Trip Hall all over again.

Always a Cowboy was a fitting finale to Cindy Spencer Pape's Love at the Crazy H series. I'm always a fan of romances between friends, and even though years and experience have separated them, Trip and Beth are perfect for each other. I loved watching them feel their way back into each others' lives. Filled with love, a cast of engaging characters and a hint of the paranormal, Cindy Spencer Pape's Love at the Crazy H series was an entertaining series that I am sad to see end.
