Buckhorn Summer

Buckhorn Brothers Series - Book #8

By Lori Foster

HQN - June 2015

Contemporary Romance

Lisa Sommerville had been restless lately. She'd been the only one in the family to move away from Buckhorn and stay away. She'd always enjoyed her career, but lately, it wasn't giving her the satisfaction she'd come to expect. So she'd gone home to the craziness that was her family. She loved them all, they were her family, blood or not, but even when she was spending a relaxing day with her cousin and brother, her thoughts continued to drift off to... someone she should never have seen again.

A one night stand who was now standing in front of her.

A forced, very early retirement from the police force, and Gray Neely had needed to find new direction in his life. That and an ad to buy a marina and Gray found himself with a new easier going life with summer vacationers in Buckhorn. And the one woman whose name he hadn't known, and he couldn't forget.

But would she stay or disappear after the summer? One thing for certain, he was staying in Buckhorn. There were enough members of her family that it was certain that regardless of where this thing went between them, she would always be a part of his life. He wanted more, but it was obvious that her family was pushing for her to stay. Gray didn't intend to pressure her, but he hoped that his form of persuasion proved the most convincing.

There are three main reasons to love Buckhorn Summer. One, we get to visit with the Buckhorn residents. Two, it is a sexy short read that is entertaining and fun. And third, and possibly the best reason, it is another benefit romance novella by Lori Foster helping a no-kill shelter. I look forward to seeing what happens next with these characters.
