One day while working at camp, Nicole Smith saved the life of Mitch Grayson who had come to visit his younger brother. They had their picture taken together, and Nicole never expected to see him again. He was on his way to serve in the Army, and she had dreams of her own. Then their paths crossed once again.
Mitch had never forgotten his angel. He had kept a clipping of their picture and it had kept him safe in dangerous times. But now he was back home, and a member of the local fire department. He can't believe when he comes across his angel, and immediately feels the connection. He wants to see her, but his work as a firefighter, and hers as a midwife keeps interrupting their dates. So he comes up with a plan not to date. After all, they can't cancel if there isn't a scheduled date.
The only question is whether their "non-dating" truly can lead to something more.
Meant For Me was an enjoyable romance with characters you can't help but root for as they try to find time for each other in their chaotic schedules. Of course, we hope that love will conquer all, after all, Mitch is a true hero and Nicole is his angel heroine. I haven't read previous stories in the Good Riders series, but Meant For Me did stand on its own.
